Steps to the Hiring Process
It’s our job to determine how your employment needs are best shaped into a role within your organization. And it’s our job to find the right person. We do that using the following steps:
- Background check
We conduct background checks on all candidates to make sure that the people we present will exactly meet your specifications.
- Résumé appraisal
The depth of our relationships within the mining industry means that, in many cases, we ask specific people to apply – people who would likely not have responded to a position posting.
- Interview process
We interview applicants long before your company ever hears of them and present only the ones we’ve handpicked. Prior to meeting with a candidate, we provide you with an interview guide to help you ask the right questions. And we alleviate the candidate’s pre-interview stress by offering guidance. This allows you to gain insight that you may not get from a nervous interviewee.
- Debriefing
After an interview, we conduct a debrief to help gauge the qualities you’re looking for in a new hire.
- Job offer guidance
Once someone has been chosen, we help craft an offer package and provide guidance on how to best present it.
- Post offer support
We work with the appropriate external professionals to negotiate and minimize the speed bumps that can threaten a successful hire. These include relocation details, immigration requirements and dealing with counter-offers. -
